On June 11, Formula 1 started the day with the last practice session. Sergio Perez again showed the best result in the session, which started with a 15-minute delay caused by barrier repairs after the Formula 2 accidents occurred prior. In the last practice again Leclerc finished the second and Verstappen the third.

In Qualifying 1, Vettel, who had a minor accident at first, crashed again in the next lap and had to stop the session early. In Q2, Stroll brings a yellow flag to the race with his accident. Although Q2 ends with an investigation into Hamilton and Norris’s slow driving, both got cleared and continued on Q3. By the end of Q3 results, Leclerc got in 1st, Perez in 2nd, and Verstappen in 3rd position.
