On September 28, some of the world’s strongest boxers took part in the IBA Boxing Night of Champions in Baku. In the first 5 fights, Uranchimegiin Mönkh-Erdene vs. Sarkhan Aliyev, John Zulueta vs. Nijat Huseynov, Nurtas Azhbenov vs. Qabil Mammadov, Solomon Adebayo vs. Jackson William Murray, and Nursultan Amanzholov vs. Magomedrasul Majidov faced each other in 6 rounds.

In the main fight, Lenar Perez faced Rosmen Brito in a 10-round fight. As a result, Lenar Perez won, taking the WBA Asian title. Then, in the 92+kg weight category, Mahammad Abdullayev faced Christian Salcedo in an 8-round fight. Finally, in the 57 kg weight category, Vsevolod Shumkov faced Mirazizbek Mirzakhalilov and fought for the IBA Champion belt. As a result of the 10-round fight, it was Vsevolod Shumkov who left the ring with the championship belt.
