The Baku Grand Slam 2025 took place during 14-16 February 2025, bringing together 258 judokas – 166 men and 92 women from 36 countries in competition for the victory.
The most competitive weight categories in Women’s were -48 kg and -70 kg, and in Men’s most athletes competed in the -73 kg and -81 kg categories.
Japan dominated the tournament, finishing first in the medal rankings with 10 gold, 4 silver, and 3 bronze medals, creating a big gap with the rest of the countries. Germany secured second place with 1 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze medal. The host nation Azerbaijan ranked 3rd – earning 1 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
