26 June, Baku, Azerbaijan. The ceremonial weigh-in for UFC Fiziev vs Torres took place at the National Gymnastics Arena, the same venue hosting tomorrow’s highly anticipated fight night.

The seats were full of fans, their gestures and eyes filled with excitement. Before the fighters got to the stage, the audience watched a short film highlighting Max Holloway’s memorable victory, building excitement for the ceremony.

One by one, the fighters appeared on stage for their final face-offs. Most of them, exchanged respectful handshakes or briefly stared each other down before parting ways. The co-main event rivals Shara Magomedov and Michel Pereira, provided the night’s most heated moment, as their tense face-off escalated into physical contact before officials quickly intervened.

The main event fighters, Rafael Fiziev and Manuel Torres, approached their face-off in a much more relaxed manner. Fiziev made his entrance wearing his signature papaq – a familiar and long expected sight for his fans and the crowd.
